Proteome analysis
Immune precipitation, gel bands, or other targeted protein extraction or purification methods are useful for extracting specific proteins of interest. These technics are often used to identify binding targets of antibodies, proteins in protein complex formations, or protein product exploration. Important tools in basic science, production, research, and development in new diagnostics, prognostics, and treatment development.
If you’d like to learn more about Biogenity's workflows for low complexity samples, we are happy to discuss your project.
Our experts are ready to help you with your project with low complexity samples. Ideally, we set up an online meeting where we get to learn about your project. Here, we discuss the different options to reach your aim.
If you need an estimate for your project, we are happy to help. We encourage you to request an initial free consultation to assess which approach fits your research aim working with immune precipitation, gel bands, or other targeted protein extraction or purification methods.

We are well experienced working with samples from immune precipitation, gel bands, and other targeted extraction or purification methods. Biogenity offers various Standard Operating Procedures for the different sample types. We happily share our protein extraction protocols, allowing you to do some of the preparation if it is of interest. We can also handle the sample preparation from your diced gel bands or purification beads. We have also implemented methods that use multiple proteases to increase coverages if you need high sequence coverages.
Biogenity’s team and its partners works with the highest standards to ensure the best quality handling and analysis of your samples. We collaborate with carefully selected proteomics laboratories for low complexity samples, ensuring that every aspect of the workflow is executed by specialized personnel.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer the latest equipment on the market. Biogenity offers the latest equipment from Thermo Fisher Scientific, ensuring a deep coverage. If you’d like to see the complete platform list, follow this link.
Even though we have the latest generation Thermo Fisher Scientific mass spectrometer, we often recommend using one of our older instruments, as the complexity of the sample is low. The Thermo Fisher Scientific Exactive Classic is often the cheaper solution and provides the needed result. Yet for the experiments where state-of-the-art sensitivity is necessary, we, of course, upgrade to either the Orbitrap Exploris 480 or the Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid Mass Spectrometer from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Biogenity's data analysis provides you with a clear overview of the data, so you can quickly identify your target(s). We also provide an easy-to-follow report of your data analysis and a wide selection of figures and tables, giving you what you need to understand and share your results.
Biogenity’s data analysis is much more than simply a data analysis. It offers an insight into what biology is, e.g., potentially activated or deactivated in the different conditions, without the hassle of postprocessing the data. Our team does it all: data filtration, outlier testing, variance plotting with PCA, clustering, and the statistics - and that is just with the statistical data analysis.
When your low complexity sample analysis is ready, we deliver it directly to your inbox. Your data and reports are easy to access and secured with encryption and password protection.
You can receive your sample leftovers sent by courier, or Biogenity can safely destroy them after project completion. It is entirely up to you.
Partnering with One Tree Planted, we want to work towards a brighter future with better treatment for diseases and a healthy planet to enjoy life. For us, our children, grandchildren, and the generations to come.
Biogenity donates a dozen trees for every project delivered to support local communities, reforestation in the Amazon rainforest, and reduce CO2 emissions. Learn how we are making a difference together.
It is important to us that you get the most out of your experiment, which is why we always offer a post-consultation where you can ask all your questions about the results. Together, we ensure that you have the best prerequisite for your further research. The consultation can also be used to explore the next step, whether you are looking to expand the project with additional omics studies or validate the results.
