Biogenity is looking for a new Omics Scientist/Customer Consultant for project management.

Biogenity is Contract Research Organization specializing in various life science research and discovery fields in diagnostics and therapeutics. Our mission is to assist omics-based discovery by empowering researchers with our expertise to get the most out of the omics analysis.

Today, Biogenity has a series of omics fee-for-service. Here, we offer research analysis to identify, list, and characterize proteomes, metabolomes, and transcriptomes.

We make data analysis data-driven and interactive to better understand complex data. Our vision is to advance omics research and bring better healthcare to future generations.



The job description

We are seeking a team member to join us on a journey to support scientists from various industries, including pharmaceutical, biotech, food technology, and academia, in their omics research projects.

In our fast-growing company, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in supporting researchers with a range of omics projects, including proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, and multiomics. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in omics and a passion for sales and customer service.

You will assist researchers with a diverse range of projects, providing guidance toward the right approaches to obtain the knowledge they need from their experiments.

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Project management
  • Customer Communication
  • Communication with Subcontractors
  • Participation in scientific discussions
  • Staying à jour with the latest trends within Omics


  • Our expectations of you

    To be considered for this position, you should ideally hold an MSc or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as biotechnology, biomedical engineering, and molecular biology. You shall have experience or a strong interest in omics, specifically proteomics, metabolomics, and transcriptomic. You shall be comfortable working independently and as a part of a team, and should have excellent organizational skills as you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in English is also necessary, as Biogenity operates in the global market, and English is the main language used in the office.

    The position is a full-time role (funktionæransættelse) with a weekly requirement 37 hours. It is set to begin on March 1, 2023, and you will be working at our Aalborg office.

    During the first selection round, candidates will be invited to complete an online personality test and to attend a 30-minute job interview with the CEO, Kenneth Kastaniegaard, and the CCO, Louis Loeb.

    In the second selection round, candidates will be invited to an online interview with a recruitment consultant and a second job interview with Kenneth and Louis lasting 60 minutes.
