Proteome analysis
Cell lines effectively test various effects in a controlled environment, e.g., different stimuli or inhibitors. The ability to control the environment reduces variance and makes changes in the biological system of the cell line as a result of effectors more prominent. Cell lines are also used for vaccine, antibody, enzyme, and other recombinant protein production, where understanding the underline mechanism can help control and manipulate the production.
If you’d like to learn more, we are happy to discuss your project and help you get the most out of your cell lines.
Our experts are ready to help you with your project with cell lines. Ideally, we set up an online meeting where we get to learn about your project. Here, we discuss the different options to reach your aim.
If you need an estimate for your project, we are happy to help. We encourage you to request an initial free consultation to assess which approach best fits your research aim working with cell lines.

To ensure the best proteome coverage in your samples, Biogenity has Standard Operating Procedures for cell studies. A complete proteome coverage is critical when studying cells in order to understand the biological functions hereof and changes caused by experimental design.
Our workflows cover traditional proteomics and post-translational modification studies, such as phosphorylation, acetylation, etc.
Biogenity’s team and its partners works with the highest standards to ensure the best quality handling and analysis of your samples. We collaborate with carefully selected proteomics laboratories for cell lines, ensuring that every aspect of the workflow is executed by specialized personnel.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer the latest equipment on the market. Our collaborating proteomics laboratory has the latest equipment from Thermo Fisher, ensuring a deep coverage. If you’d like to see the complete platform list, follow this link.
Biogenity provides methods for deep proteome. Using the latest generation Thermo Fisher instrument, we can reach +10,000 proteins in a study. If we use isotope labeling, we can do the quantification on MS3 level, increasing accuracy. This gives you close to full cell proteome coverages.
Data analysis is where you get your overview. You will receive an easy-to-follow report describing the data analysis of your cell line proteomics samples and results hereof, step-by-step, together with a folder containing all tables and figures. To ensure that you have the material needed, we always provide a vast number of figures and tables.
Biogenity's data analysis gives you an overview of biological systems, indicating enriched pathways and biological processes. This allows for mapping wherein the cellular compartments the changes are occurring, exploring the function of the individual regulated protein and looking for general enriched molecular functions. The statistical analysis gives you insight into relevant proteins. Our clustering analysis, powered by machine learning, shows the relation between the samples and if groupings within the data can be found.
With our bioinformatic data analysis, you will also get interactive plots that allow you to explore the signaling pathways that are enriched in your data. It lets you take the regulated proteins into perspective, showing which biological pathways or biological processes are potentially up or down-regulated. This helps you get a good understanding of what is happening in the different conditions.
Bioinformatics allows for much deeper data analysis of your cell lines to identify pathways, biological processes, molecular functions, and cellular components that are changing in your data. The bioinformatic data analysis includes enrichment analysis, comparative figures, and network mapping.
When your cell line analysis is ready, we deliver it directly to your inbox. Your data and reports are easy to access and secured with encryption and password protection.
You can receive your sample leftovers sent by courier, or Biogenity can safely destroy them after project completion. It is entirely up to you.
Partnering with One Tree Planted, we want to work towards a brighter future with better treatment for diseases and a healthy planet to enjoy life. For us, our children, grandchildren, and the generations to come.
Biogenity donates a dozen trees for every project delivered to support local communities, reforestation in the Amazon rainforest, and reduce CO2 emissions. See how we are making a difference together.
It is important to us that you get the most out of your experiment, which is why we always offer a post-consultation where you can ask all your questions about the results. Together, we ensure that you have the best prerequisite for your further research. The consultation can also be used to explore the next step, whether you are looking to expand the project with additional omics studies or validate the results.
