N-linked glycosylation

Proteome analysis

N-linked glycosylation or N-glycans have been associated with various functions such as protein folding, refolding, complex formation, and trafficking. N-glycans have also been related to cell adhesion, primarily focusing on immune stimulation to understand the immune activation of antibodies and virus particles. N-glycans can therefore be essential when developing new treatments and vaccines.

Sample preparation and sample analysis

Specialized workflows for analyzing N-glycans

Biogenity offers specialized Standard Operating Procedures for analyzing N-glycans to ensure the best annotation of the N-linked glycosylation on the targeted proteins in your samples. The laboratory is exceptionally well-experienced with antibodies and recombinant proteins and is ready to handle your protein samples.

Experienced Professionals

Biogenity’s team and its partners work with the highest standards to ensure the best quality handling and analysis of your samples. This ensures that every aspect of the workflow is executed by specialized personnel, providing the quality needed to provide you with state-of-the-art results for N-linked glycosylation.

Equipment from Thermo Fisher Scientific

We pride ourselves on offering some of the best equipment on the market. Our collaborating proteomics laboratory has some of the latest equipment from Thermo Fisher, ensuring a deep coverage. If you’d like to see the complete platform list, follow this link.

Robust methods for N-linked glycosylation

We use mass spectrometry with high resolution and accuracy. The most common workflow is where we use enzymes to release the glycans, which we fluorescently tag, purify, and analyze using a Thermo Fisher Scientific Orbitrap Fusion Tribrid Mass Spectrometer combined with Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC).

Data analysis, including report, figures, and tables

Let us be your data scientist

Data analysis is where you get the overview of your N-linked glycosylation analysis. Biogenity provides descriptions, allowing you to follow the process of annotation.

Our statistical experts will make the quantitative comparisons and provide you with a step-by-step report, together with a folder containing all tables and figures. All to ensure data is easy to follow, allowing you to focus on answering your research questions at hand.

Delivery and discussion

Delivered directly to your inbox

When your N-linked glycosylation analysis is ready, we deliver it directly to your inbox. Your data and reports are easy to access and secured with encryption and password protection.

You can receive your sample leftovers sent by courier, or Biogenity can safely destroy them after project completion. It is entirely up to you.

Plant a tree with Biogenity and One Tree Planted

Partnering with One Tree Planted, we want to work towards a brighter future with better treatment for diseases and a healthy planet to enjoy life. For us, our children, grandchildren, and the generations to come.

Biogenity donates a dozen trees for every project delivered to support local communities, reforestation in the Amazon rainforest, and reduce CO2 emissions. Learn how we are making a difference together.

Post-consultation and discussion

It is important to us that you get the most out of your experiment, which is why we always offer a post-consultation where you can ask all your questions about the results. Together, we ensure that you have the best prerequisite for your further research. The consultation can also be used to explore the next step, whether you are looking to expand the project with additional omics studies or validate the results.
