Phosphoproteomics

Proteome analysis

Phosphoproteomics is excellent for measuring cell signalling pathways. By applying mass spectrometry to your phosphorylated peptides, Biogenity can detect which proteins, kinases, and pathways are active, thus, identifying which proteins are involved in the biological processes pertaining to your experimental question.

If you’d like to learn more, we are happy to discuss your project and help you get the most out of your phosphoprotein samples.

Data analysis, including report, figures, and tables

Visualization of your phosphoproteomics

Data analysis is where you get the overview of your animal-based analysis. You will receive an easy-to-follow report describing the data analysis and results hereof, step-by-step, together with a folder containing all tables and figures. To ensure that you have the material needed, we always provide a vast number of figures and tables.

Let us be your data scientist

Biogenity’s data analysis is much more than simply a data analysis. It offers an insight into what biology is, e.g., potentially activated or deactivated in the different conditions, without the hassle of postprocessing the data. Our team does it all: data filtration, outlier testing, variance plotting with PCA, clustering, and the statistics - and that is just with the statistical data analysis.

Measure how your protein changes over time

Phosphoproteomics is particularly well suited for time-course experiments measuring the signaling occurring within minutes of signal initiation, as phosphorylation occurs on a sub-minute timescale.

Compared to the traditional proteomic approach of measuring the baseline differences between two conditions, phosphorylation benefits from multiple temporal measurements to establish the cascades of kinase and phosphatase activation.

Our phosphoproteomics expert will help design your experiment, ensuring that we answer your specific research questions at hand.

Bioinformatical data analysis of phosphoproteomics

Bioinformatics allows for much deeper data analysis of your phosphorylated proteins to identify pathways, biological processes, molecular functions, cellular components, and kinases that are changing in your data. The bioinformatic data analysis includes enrichment analysis, comparative figures, and network mapping.

Interactive plots to highlight signaling pathways

With our bioinformatic data analysis, you will also get interactive plots that allow you to explore the signaling pathways that are enriched in your data. It lets you take the regulated proteins into perspective, showing which biological pathways or biological processes are potentially up or down-regulated. This helps you get a good understanding of what is happening in the different conditions.

Delivery and discussion
